ThreeBond 2086N Low-temperature curing two-part epoxy resin adhesive
ThreeBond 2086N is an epoxy resin-based low-temperature curing two-part adhesive. The adhesive quickly reacts to cure and exerts adhesive force even at low temperatures. Its curing speed is high: it starts to cure in 5 to 8 minutes at normal temperature (25c) and reaches the practical strength after approx 30 minutes.

ThreeBond 2084, 2084B & 2084E
ThreeBond 2084 series is a series of epoxy adhesive with excellent property, which is called “synthetic resin steel”. Hence it has wider range of uses such as adhesion, filling-up, padding, coating, lining, flushing of electrical parts, laminating, mould, etc. It is also excellent in mechanical property, chemical resistance, electrical and heat resistance. It is very simple to use and can be used at room temperature.
Features
- ThreeBond 2084 series has the following excellent features after hardening which cannot be expected other resin, Shear strength, tension strength, contraction ratio, compression strength, bending strength, impact resistance, aging resistance, weather-proofing for outdoor use, electrical properties, heat resistance (up to around 180°C), freezing resistance (down to around - 30°C).
- These products have higher degree of stability in chemical resistance, waterproofing, oil resistance and solvent resistance.
- After hardening, the material is quite stable physically and neither strain nor volume change occurs. It is also very simple like iron in cutting, processing and finishing due to its excellent machinability.
- Hardening of these products is by chemical reaction with the appropriate hardener. Thus, the contraction ratio after hardening is minimised to approx. 0.01% (compared with that of polyester resin ~ 10%) and so neither crack nor peeling phenomenon will occur.
